Aurora Aksnes, born June 15 1995 in Stavanger and known professionally as Aurora often stylized in uppercase in the form of AURORA is a Norwegian music producer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th, 2015 it received a raving review from music blogs and the media. Half the World Away, by the Oasis group for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are just two of the artist's high-profile recordings. Katy Perry shared a tweet in which Perry promoted her song Runaway. Enjoy the celebration of this special event. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory was of discovering an instrument in her attic and being fascinated by the sound it could produce. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes encouraged her to pursue music for development of her own, not as a way of earning money or to pursue as a hobby. Thus, she began her own compositions. She credits renowned composers Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan for inspiration, as well as an affinity for Bjork's style. She decided to start performing her music in public when her mom suggested they might help others not gain acclaim for her work, but instead help the people around them understand their own importance and how they impact the world. The piano was her first instrument at the age of six, and she started writing music when she turned nine. The fact that she was a musician wasn't known to her family members until she turned fourteen. There was no way she could have imagined to become Aurora. Aurora is simply a writer who loves writing songs. For her, the songs she creates are the way that she feels any thing.
